Great design is born of two things:
simplicity and clarity.

I’m a brand graphic designer focused on building cohesive identities that do more than look good—they communicate clearly and connect meaningfully. I work at the intersection of strategy and design, turning ideas and values into distinct, enduring visual systems.

From developing brands from the ground up to refining existing ones, I consider every touchpoint—typography, color, imagery, and layout—as part of a unified story. My work spans digital, print, packaging, and physical spaces, with a focus on consistency, flexibility, and purpose.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working directly with clients as well as collaborating full-time employment and on a freelance/contract basis with advertising, design, in-house and marketing firms on projects ranging from local startups to global brands.

I see great design the way I see a thriving garden—shaped by patience, guided by intuition, and given the space to grow in the right direction.

I grew up on a 72-acre farm with a 15-acre pond in Geneva–Harpersfield, Ohio, where life revolved around hard work and the outdoors. I spent my days baling hay, riding dirt bikes, and helping care for cows, chickens, and pigs before eventually joining the Army National Guard.

Later, I moved to Columbus for school, where I discovered a passion for creativity, storytelling, and visual communication — a path that ultimately led me into a career in advertising and brand design.

Outside of work, I enjoy a slower pace of life in the country after relocating from Columbus, Ohio, to the village of Bellville with my wife, Heidi. We spend as much time as possible with our two daughters and their families, making family a big part of our everyday life.

When I’m not designing, you’ll usually find me outdoors — hiking, running, kayaking, traveling, working out, gardening, homesteading, or tending to our chickens. I’m happiest staying active, creating, and enjoying the simple, rewarding parts of life.
